There can be such brilliance in the simplistic.  Particularly in advertising.  By striping all of the sales pitches away, if a print advertisement can convey the marketing message with a minimalistic approach in design and focus – and it is done right – the end result leaves the consumer with a memorable association with the brand being advertised.  Because it is in the simple that intelligent creative solutions can be found.


Take three advertising posters for Ford Motorcraft Wipers that are shown in Ford Service departments whose basic message is “Take on Winter with Ford Motorcraft Wipers.”


Canadian ad agency, Blue Hive Toronto, devised this series of beautifully simple and uber-effective print ads that use huge amounts of negative space, bright pure hues, and universally recognized symbols to convey this message.  The result is convincing, memorable and innovative.
