This promotional poster was created to promote the 2014 summer theme for Wagon Train, a 10-week summer youth camp run by Hume Lake Christian Camps. The theme was titled “AXE: The Lumberjack Tales” and was loosely based off a lumberjack narrator character loosely based off of the fictional Paul Bunyon. I chose to design a very nostalgic, flat, highly-styled illustration to help communicate charm and whimsy.
